<P>i first sign up M1, but later on because singtel has a promotion, so I decided to switch to Singtel, hence I signed up a new line with singtel with 2 years contract, but still keep my M1 line, intended to cancle it only after 1 month. </P><P>But ... something happened. </P><P>At my office, ther eis no signal for Singtel line, my M1 line was OK all the while, So I called up Singtel customer service to informed them about this. They said they will get the signal engineer to check and call me back ...</P><P>At my home, also there is no Singtel singnal except near the window, my M1 line was OK all the while, So I called Singtel customer service to informed them about this also, they said they will call be back at my M1 line as my singtel line has no signal most of the time, at home or office, except in MRT.</P><P>After 1 week, the engineer call me and tell me the reason," ... the signal was weak because .......(technical things) .....". "Then was is the solution?" ." ah .. this ah ...we will check ...". "how long are you going to solve this problem?" "I will inform you when it is solved ...I will call you back."</P><P>Ma de. I have to pay the monthly bill, but cannot use the phone. Ok lah, nevermind lah ... wait and see...</P><P>after 1 month, still the signal still weak. So I call the customer service to complanint again. The same answer,.." we will ask our engr to investigate and call you back late .."</P><P>But no reply for 1 week. I complaint again. This time the engineer call me back at my M1 line saying that, " .... the singnal was weak because ........", "then was is the solution?" I ask again. " the solution was to install a router at your company and at a place near your house." So, how long are you going to resolve this problem?" " .. we will inform you when it is solved, we will call you back later." "Eh, friend, I have to pay ..." Before I finished my sentence, "we will call you back ..." and hang off.</P><P>After 1 month, still no signal, I stop paying the bill alreaby. I called the customer service to complaint the weak signal problem again. ".. we will asked our engineer to investigate and call you back later." "I had been complainting about this for more than 2 months alreasy, but still it is not resolved yet." "Ehmmm, we will investigate ... but I also like to inform you that you have 1 month outstanding balance that have not pay yet." "I will not pay untill this problemn is resolve." "If you dont pay, we will take legal sctions towards you." "Why should I pay since I cant use it at home and office, where should I use your service then?" "But we still provide you the service, you can still use it when you are in MRT or bus." "I am sorry, I am driving." I lied, "up to you to pay it or not lah." hang off.</P><P>2 weeks gone, no reply from singtel, I complaint again. This time the engineer call me back, ".. the signal was weak because ......, the solution is to install a router ..we will inform you when it is resolved."</P><P>2 weeks gone, I complain again, the engineer call me back at my M1 line, "..,.... we failed to install the router because ....." "then how, does it means I cannot use the phone." "this you have to call customer service, I do not incharge of this, I incharge of signal issue only."</P><P>2 weeks later, they send me another bill ask me to pay the money. I complaint again, I said it is unfair for me to pay the money, also I want it to resolve quickly. The engineer call me back at my M1 line "...hey I told you I failed to install the router already as ......how about you go and install the router by yourself, I will pass you te router." I fainted, I am not working for Singtel.</P><P>They send me letter again the following month, asking me to pay the bill. I refused, I call the customer service, they connect me to the billing department. after the manager understand what was going on,"OK, how about I put you service to temp stop , which means you do not need to pay the subcristion service untill the problem resolve" "Ok, good." "But you still need to pay $5/month as admin fee." "huh! if you take 2 years to solve the problem?" "Err...." "I think I rather terminate the service now." "then you have to pay for the penalty of $250." "huh, it is all your faulth, it is unfair to me. Or you can guarantee to solve this problem in 1 month time. "errr, I am going to lunch now, how about you leave me your contact, I will call you back later." "ok my M1 number is xxxxx" But he never call me back.</P><P>1 week later I call ustomer service again. They said they will ask billing department to call me back. But never. I complaint again, thay say they will ask the billing department to call me back. But never ....... repeat X5.</P><P>I refused to pay the bill. They terminated my line, ask me to pay for $250 penalty. I refused, thay send someone to come to my house to collect money, I refused to pay also.They send me lawyer letter, I ignored them. THey said they will sue me at court, I ignored. They called me up, asking me why I do not want to oay the money, I tell them the story, they said I should have to contact the manager about this, I said " i do not have the manager's phone number. "you may call the customer service, they will connect you to the billing department." hahaa, she must be joking.</P><P>they keep on sending me lawer letter, the figure become bigger and bigger as they charge me for the lawyer leter fee also. Still I refuse to pay, even though they mentioned that they will bring the case to court, also they send some debt collecter to my home to collect the money, I refuse to pay. They call my family members (I do not kanow how thay get the numbers, may be because of the same mailing address), ask them to ask me to oay the money, I refuse to pay.</P><P>untill today, 2 years passed. I remain in their black list, oweing then $5++. They never charge me at court. Also they gave up sending me lawyer letters.</P><P>So...... do not use Singtel handphone. </P><P>TNND.</P> |
