谁知道确切答案：在中国使馆交护照之后可不可以拿着收据就去ICA申请护照？实在是不想多耽误工作时间。本人现在不在新加坡，也遇到类似情况。急需正解。

移民厅需要的是大使馆出示的官方退籍声明，不是什么收据。

On that day when u come to registered for your SC at ICA according to the approval letter, u can apply for the singapore passport after you registered for your citizenship at ICA 6th floor as well as your temporary Singapore pink IC, it's a paper letter of IC. At the meantime, they will give u a passport applicaiton for you to apply for singapore passport, just fillup and paste the photo and drop to the passport applicatoin box at 6th floor and if u the credit card, just fill in the number on application form, they will bill the passport 70 dollars to yr credit card. About 4-5 days later include weekend, u will receive a red card ask u to collect the passort 3 days later ( must be within 2 weeks). Your singapore citizenship certificate and Pink IC will give to u by either one of the Minister or Prime Minister ( depends on yr luck ) at one of CDC new citizen ceremony after 3-4 months later. In mean time, you only have yr paper type of pink IC and passport.

护照一个星期就可以拿到,IC要等..
