At around 5:30pm On Saturday, 2 June 2007. I booked a SMRT taxi, which Registration No is 1776 in 66 Springside Ave. At first, my destination is Bedok. But when I got on the taxi, and asked cabdriver if I could change my destination to Sunplaza, in Sembawang. My friend was over there waiting for me. The cabdriver very impolitely said, 'Isn't it Bedok'? I said, 'But I wanna to go to Sunplaza, can't I?" He said [with very bad attitude, 'which Sunplaza'? Due to I am not sure how many Sunplazas there are in Singapore, I called my friends which Sunplaza. My friend surprisely asked how many Sunplazas in Singapore? Aren't there only one in Sembawang. I told the cabman, ‘Sembawang Sunplaza’? He is very rude, very impolite and his service is very bad. I often take taxi to visit my friends and my relatives, but I never met a taxi driver like him. Maybe this time is SMRT Taxi, bad service??? I alighted, asked him, ‘How much’? He roared, ’$11:50’? The taximeter screen is $5.50 I was very confused and asked, ‘why so much’? He roared again, ‘Haven’t you taken a taxi? Booking fee is $4, Pear time is $2.’ I was very angry with his abominable attitude at that time, not sure how to reply… 'Because I often take a taxi, so I know how much it should be? Isn’t booking fee on Saturday $2.50?’ In fact, I don’t care how much, but I am very angry with his service. I didn’t pay tip to the cabman this time. This cabdriver’s service is too bad. He is very impolite, very rude. I have never met a cabdriver like him in my life…. |
