I am a Singaporean guy... and have had it with the recent reports and the fucking rude and dismissive attitude of Singaporeans towards Chinese women from Mainland China. So here I am ranting! WTF, stupid straits times even wrote and PUBLISHED on their front page.... China women, China women, China women... WTF is that about? Hello, excuse me? China women????? CHINESE WOMEN for fuck's sake! Damn bloody rude! People need to go to China and take a freaking look, their Puma store have more new stuf than Singapore, their Chanel items cost more than in Singapore. Even Shanghai hosted the world renowned Millionaire Fair where companies sell to the super rich private islands, jet planes, cutlery and tableware that cost more than the average person's annual salary and of course helicopters and the usual Ferraris and Porsche GTs (of which Singaporeans know nothing about - Huh, Million AirFare?) A LOT of Chinese are much much much more well to do and wealthy than MOST like 90% of Singaporeans.... . Just think how much money they need to come to Singapore... convert that into their currency and you know how wealthy they are. Also, the super rich who are building and selling high rise buildings like nothing... those are they ones who tell their friends NOT to come to Singapore... bloody boring, small island, nothing to see and generally a waste of time.... not to mention the BIAS that this dumb and ignorant society has about the 'typical Chinese'. Where do they go? They go to Australia, Europe, L.A... etc. For those mothers who accompany their children here to study... the amount of money (converted to Singapore's standards, many Singaporeans would not be able to afford) and all these effort to do that is simply they desire a better life... and this desire for a better life... I tell you, is not even visible among most Singaporeans. They are just too fucking lazy and UNMOTIVATED. What have you got to be proud of, Singaporeans???? Nothing... you are just a lazy, idle bunch who work, work, work, and do not even go for your dreams. Instead of looking down (???) on people who works for their dreams (despite having a comfortable life in your country.... and then becoming 3rd class citizens in another country), you should be in awe and actually feel RESPECT for these people.... and feel sorry for your state of existance. If Singaporeans have anything to be proud of, it is only one thing.... Lee Kuan Yew. Without him, all you people will become shit. I have been to more than 20 countries and I know what a good job Lee did and how great it feels to be carrying a Singaporean passport, and that is a fact. Be grateful. Do not step on someone you think is lower than you... many times... in their own countries they were in a position of comfort and even authority. Because of their DREAMS, and desire for success, and a better life for their children, they sacrifice... and that alone is worth some respect. I mean, Please, Singaporeans.... open your eyes. What have you done lately that will make a difference to your own life? What have you got to be proud of? Did you go for your dreams? Are you proud that you are just one of those living in a neat little HDB, driving a neat little car, on neat little roads, earning a neat little salary? What's wrong with an Indian becoming a construction worker thousands of miles away from home to feed his children? What is wrong with a Malaysian young man saving up for his future by coming here and working as a bus driver? What is wrong??? What have YOU done to make you so proud of? Did you build Singapore??????? Or you merely followed the crowd? You did what everyone else did. You listened to grandmaster puppeteer Lee's policy and words. And therefore today we are typing in English. And you feel proud of that? And look down on others who have ENOUGH BALLS to pursue their dreams??? What a joke. What irony. Take a good look in the mirror today.
