<P>新加坡 National service　真的不尽人情．　</P>
<P>第一代是新加坡ＰＲ，第二代，孩子即使没做ＰＲ，比如仍然保持马来西亚公民的话，但是为了让孩子节省２年，就去美国，英国读书．之后，就算你是Ｈavard , Cambridge毕业，想来新加坡工作，并且被大公司，象Citibank, 聘用，新水７０００，　也没用．　ＩＣＡ　就是不给你ＥＰ．想想可气，什么ＰＯＬＹ毕业的，不要太快拿到ＥＰ或者ＰＲ．　什么吸引人才．　</P>
<P>所以，这一代做了ＰＲ，就一定要想清楚，如果不想浪费２年时间让孩子服兵役，但是又想孩子以后回来新加坡工作的话，那么就要在孩子出生前就自己放弃ＰＲ．　</P>

<P>看看下面這段話（摘自EXPLANATORY NOTES TO FORM 4A &amp; Annex A）</P><P>Main applicants who are granted PR status under the first generation Professionals, Technical Personnel and Skilled Workers Scheme or the Investor Scheme are exempted from NS. Male children who are granted PR status under their parents’ sponsorship are liable for NS upon reaching 16 years old.</P>
