Bid Manager Responsibilities and Duties - Perform Sales and Presales work
- Establish networks so as to identify and develop new sales accounts, preferably in the Banking/Finance Industry.
- Perform cold calls, follow-up and courtesy calls
- Identify objectives, strategies and action plan to improve short and long term sales goals
- Identify clients’ requirement and translate them into technical proposals to meet the needs of the clients.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of the specifications and features of the responsible products and systems to ensure the delivery of quality proposals to clients
- Prepare and design presentations for clients, conduct sales presentations, negotiations and prepare sales proposals and tenders
- Provide technical support to clients including the installation of software programs and setting up hardware servers
- Ensure smooth transition from Pre-sales to Post-Sales Phrase
Skills and specifications
- Minimum 2 years experience as Sales / Pre-sales Consultant preferably in the Banking / Finance Industry/Middleware Software area
- Have good communication and presentation skills and is able to work in a team
- Aggressive, has proven track records in business development and account management
- Innovative and independent
- Have knowledge of IT. Knowledge of J2EE/Java, IBM or Oracle Middleware Software will be an advantage
- Have good organizational skills
Education and Qualifications
- Qualifications in an IT related discipline
- Qualifications in sales and marketing
