see the footwears, the gal must me from China, the boy could be from anywhere. Did not read the juicy papers, but cannot see the slapping.  Definitely they had some problem. It was just a wrong place to have done the talking.

i do NOT know what makes you jump to the conclusion to condemn the guy is a "bastard", but i wouldn't form any opinion without first knowing the facts behind why the slapping act was done. Well, the girl might have or have not done something bad to deserve the slapping and kneeling.

Have it ever cross your minds that maybe the girl had kill the guy's pet (dogs/cat/fish....etc) as the guy has been paying to much attention on his pet, or maybe  the girl could be secretly abusing the guy's old parent and the guy wanted report that to the police, so the the girl is kneeling and pleading the guy to let her off.

Whatever the case may be, the truth may just amaze or amuse you and me .
