免费艺文活动又来了。。。。

新加坡交响乐团为欢送总统纳丹举办演奏会。。。
本周末02/10 晚上举行免费的音乐会。。。。
门票请自行打电话去新加坡交响乐团办公室询问。。。。反正是免费索取的。。。。

　　演奏会定在10月2日晚上7时30分，假滨海湾艺术中心音乐厅举行。入场免费，多数座位留给特定受邀人士，但乐团预留了数百张门票给新加坡交响乐团乐友会成员和公众，观众可随意乐捐给纳丹指定的慈善团体新加坡交响乐团和嘉诺撒学校（Canossian School for the Hearing Impaired）。公众可上网www.sso.org.sg察看详情。

This tribute concert to former President S.R. Nathan is lead by the SSO's Resident Conductor Lim Yau, and joining him are Singaporean pianists Lim Yan and Abigail Sin in Saint-Saëns' Carnival of the Animals. Both Lim Yan and Abigail Sin were featured under the SSO President's Young Performers Concert in 2002 and 2003 respectively. Rounding off the programme are popular classics including the Intermezzo to Cavalleria Rusticana by Mascagni, the Hungarian Dance No. 5 by Brahms and the first movement from Beethoven's Third Symphony.

Admission for this concert is by invitation only.

A limited number of tickets are available for Friends of the SSO and members of the public. All tickets are complimentary and audience members may make a voluntary donation in aid of two charities nominated by Mr Nathan: the Singapore Symphony Orchestra and the Canossian School for the Hearing-Impaired.

• Tue, 27 Sep - Wed, 28 Sep: Ticket collection for public at SSO office from 10am - 6pm (one pair per person)
