Problem to renew the Long Term Social Visit Pass

*******Sorry, my PC cannot type mandarin*******

My mother has submitted the application to renew the long term social visit pass on 22/08/2011 . She will travel back China at the end of next month (30days trip) and her pass will be expired during the trip. Whether can get the renew one before oversea…?

I’m not sure the processing time, got any elder parents renew the pass before? Or any good suggestion?

delay the trip until the LSVP is renewed

Normally, renewal ltsv takes less than a month I guess. Even she is flying away before u get the approval, it doesn't matter. The approval letter should have grace period for u to prepare for the renewal. Then the most u may have to apply an entry visa when she is back if the renewal is still pending.

the air-ticket cannot change time or cancel. so sad!
