bro, if you read my past posts, you should know that i am far from being anti-foreign talents, i fully agree with your view that no point anti-foreign talents, infact i welcome them with my both arms. we should improve ourselves base on skills, productivity etc to compete on equal grounds. some may disagree that we are completing on equal grounds as they can accept much lower pays. Like what i said, i welcome them as i believe competition brings improvements not only to singapore and also for ourselves，and brings more diversity and vibrancy to our society.

If any of you think that all press are not skewed and fair, you should also believe that Singapore comes with 4 seasons and that we will never have any flooding problems. Read things with a pinch of salt. Be discerning. While what Temasek Review publishes might hide their own personal agenda, mainstream media also have their integrity problems. I read political news for the sake of seeing opinions from diffeent angles but never for the sake of acquiring knowledge.

Introduction of foreign talents may be good for the progress of the nation, we should not forget the elected constitution are in place to protect the interest of those who voted them in. What good are they if they cannot even fulfill the fundamental duties? That is why, introduction should be coupled with sensibility of not compromising what is good for our people. The government thinks that they are doing the right thing. However, the unprecedented victory of the strongest and most credible opposition clinching the hottest GRC displacing several ministers including George Yeo during recent election shows that the sentiments ont the ground beg to differ.

Welcoming foreign talents? Yes, but not at the expense of our people.
