Please pardon me as I do not have a Chinese word processor so I cannot type in Mandarin.

It seems very apparent that we have a strong presence in the forum who still consider that the seditious post the threadstarter wrote is considered not an issue. I think sufficient reiteration had been made. Please do not bring what the chinese do in China into Singapore. This is Singapore and just as we respect the culture in China when in China, we expect the Chinese to respect the Singaporean culture when in Singapore.

When the law is broken, you face the music. The apology cannot undo what is done but may serve as mitigation. There are many dissatisfaction many of us including friends and colleagues of mine around the world have against the Chinese who blatantly disregard the cultures in our respective country and in Singapore like religious and racial harmony, daily conduct, work and road safety. But let us be subjective in this case and refrain from making the same seditious remarks ourselves.

I have made a police report and urged the authorities to do something about this. If nothing is done, I will go to the MP and the press if necessary. Dear all who feel the urgency to show our solidarity towards the belief that we should respect and protect religious and racial harmony should do like wise. Zhou must be dealt with by the law. How the law deals with him is beyond what we can control. The relentless efforts to push for legal procedures is to strongly show to the rest of potential offenders that Singapore means business when we want maintain the respect and tolerance for different religion and race.

回复 ima 的帖子

ima, your fellow man beat a Singaporean in Singapore and you still call us 蛮子. You should reflect on yourself. We worked so hard towards racial harmony, and you claimed that chinese Singaporean bullied the minority, which is untrue...i think if we have people like you in Singapore, very soon we are going to have riots in near future. Please post your photo, names and address online so that you can discuss with our policeman how chinese Singaporean bully the minority.
