痛过的人

Mrs Lim baked some biscuits and packed them in 14 small boxes and 7 big boxes.There were equal number of biscuits in each small box and equal number of biscuits in each big box.Eachbig box contained 10 more biscuits than each small box.18/29 of the biscuits baked were packed  in samll boxes .How many biscuits were there in each small box?:$

There are total 29 units of biscuits;
Small boxes contain 18 units;
Big boxes contain 11 units (29-18);
Each small  box contains ->18/14 = 9/7 units
Each big box contains ->11/7 units
10 pcs of biscuits ->11/7 units - 9/7 units=2/7units
1 unit-> 10*7/2=35 pcs
each small box contains->35*18/14 = 45 pcs

Answer: There were 45 pieces of biscuits in each small box.

不好意思，该一点。

这种类型的问题用“置换”法好理解一些
TOTAL BISCUITS：29u
14small boxes---18u
7 big boxes---11u=7 small boxes+70biscuits
21 small boxes=27u
2u---70biscuits
18u--630biscuits
each small box has 45 biscuits.

简化一下题目，总数（A）、14小盒子个和7个大盒子 大家都除以7就等同于新总数（B）、2个小盒子和一个大盒子，
B的18/29装在小盒子里面,也就是意味着B的9/29装在一个小盒子里面，剩下一个大盒子装B的11/29,，
大盒子比小盒子多装B的2/29。所以B的2/29=10，B的1/29=5,
小盒子装B的9/29=5×9=45
