i think you are a DPR.
I have a 2.5 years old son need to be taken care, but my parents' LTSVP were rejected when I was DPR (i have got the approval letter for my application of SCZ, just haven't regestered), a few days later i became SCZ, then I appeared, 20 days later, approved, 5 years, no need to add any documents.
So i think either good ending or bad ending, both depands on your own condition, nothing to do with your child or some other excuses.
