Different culture and different belief and ways of doing things.

I worked with these people before, angmos, filipinos, malaysian, burmese, indians, taiwanese, thais, hongkongers and china chinese......

No prejudice encounter at all. most importantly don't backstabbed each other to gain credits.

When you want to buy something from the shop, don't keep asking for product specification and prices, then haggle and later walk-off.

Small shopkeepers may feel that it's a wasteful time spent with no gains. Hence they will be less focus on the same country customers because there are no gains

Why not you try buying durians at geylang ........... if you make the seller fed-up, he may throw the durian at you or challenge you to eat all the durians if he were to sell you at the price you quoted.............. He would chase you off and scolded you with vuglarities even to the locals.
