Part 2 When reading the story I was so moved that I admired the housewife’s final decision. Two days ago, I mailed all my tapes to Silly. Though I seldom listened to them since I came to Shanghai, still I felt a little pity and upset. The Crazy English kept me company during my college nights. The BSB were my heavy mind releasers while I was after work. So many vivid memory flooded into my mind that how sorry I was to pack them all into a small mailbox. Without music, life will be soon come to doom. The out-of-date walkman was sent for his study, as well. So no use for me to keep the tapes although I had them with me for more than eight years. But they played their part as my faithful spirit supporters as possible as they could in the past. Whenever I drop into sleepless nights, they will come to help me out. No loneliness, no nightmare, no burden when they are lingering in my ears. However, for half a year I am away from them. And day by day, I seems to be drawn into an anxious and lonely hole, deep and dark. Especially at present, the frustrated and helpless feeling is popping up again to snatch me. Maybe, the new changeable life is claimed to the blame. Recently, a female Korean movie star took her life away herself for her spirit torture under the life’s pressure. Sometimes, I keep it in mind that death is the best healer to everything. When it comes to take your breath away, it might be the most releasing moment. Nothing to worry and nothing to lose, too. Here, I don’t want to spread the gloomy idea to anyone. It’s only my point on life, an instinct to death. No one can escape the destiny no more than to predict when his time will come. Some choose to fight for his best days while some not. Leslie Zhang, our beloved Hongkong singer, was the example of turning away from life. Wise or not? Any comment for that is equal to no sense. There are a group of soul sufferers who need no reason for finishing their lives. No matter how others view them, no one can touch their real mind inside at the time they make their choice. The body, as for them, is the material that God makes. Yet the beautiful memory of them is stemmed from their loved ones. At a right time they throw away their bodies with dust and smell on but leave the fragrant memory to their people. Isn’t it a weird viewpoint of life?

Part 3 Who can tell us how much courage we need for death or survival? Several years ago, Xiaohui Wong, a well-known camerawoman graduated from Shanghai Tongji University, had to accept the cruel death of her beloved husband, also an earnest camerist, and her bloody face disfigurement in a severe car crash when they were on the road of shooting the captivating pictures. At the moment that her husband was entombed she still was tied up to the bed with tight bandages. The only thing she could to do to see her lifetime lover off was to make 1,000 kisses on the purely white papers. Although her lips were torn apart and aching, she gathered all her strength to finish the bloody kisses with her stormy-and-soon-drained-away tears. How can we send a word to pacify her mountain-heavied agony? Mrs. Wong, indeed, is a great woman not for her intelligence but for her soon-picked-up courage to survive after her losing her beloved soul partner although from that time on, she only wears black or white clothes in the memory of her love. Various soul-touching vivid pictures she took in German and China caught numerous attentions at home and abroad. At present, in an elegant way she keeps on as usual. The life is so fragile that no one can figure it out when it will move on or not. When something precious in our life vanishes in the wind, only the living can drive the everlasting memory on and on.
